Sub-Theme / Call for Paper

The organising committee invites researchers, policy makers, community groups, educational professionals and postgraduate students worldwide to submit research papers to METROPOLISKL2024. Areas of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:

• Theme 1: Refugees: Contemporary Challenges and Future Options

• Theme 2: Managing Migration: Optimal Legal and Administrative Systems

• Theme 3: ‘Host and Settlers’: Addressing Anxieties and Enabling Acceptance

• Theme 4: Inclusivity and Sustainability

• Theme 5: Shared Urban Spaces: The Politics and Lived Realities of Cities

• Theme 6: Miscellaneous Social Science

Paper Requirements:

• Language: Malay/English

• Length of abstract: 300 words maximum

• Length of paper: 3000 words excluding references

• Format: APA style

• Full conference paper submission: 1 October 2024

• Full conference registration fees due for all presenters: 15 August 2024

• Conference dates: 14-17 November 2024

• International attendees: USD 180

• Malaysian presenters: RM 900
